“In the last ten years due to rapid advances in computing power and the availability of all kinds of data (not just numeric but text, audio, video, etc.), there has been a strong demand for graduate students trained in how to analyze these different types data and create solutions in a diverse range of industries including finance, retail, health sciences, oil & gas and so on. We started addressing this market demand in 2004 through nationally recognized graduate data mining certificate programs that have graduated 750+ students in the last 10 years. The newly launched MSBA degree builds on the platform of our highly successful certificate programs and takes advantage of our established brand name, our deep partnership with SAS®, our corporate and alumni advisory board and our expertise in delivering contemporary content based on market demand,” according to Dr. Goutam Chakraborty, Director and Ralph A. and Peggy A.
